• I like to start my day with a cup of coffee and a 15-minute training session followed by a dealership walkthrough

• I was a local paperboy

• Dog

What energizes you outside of work?

• I enjoy watching my kids play sports and music. I also enjoy how I get to see them grow and improve so quickly.

• I’ve been with MacPhee Ford for 6 years.

• Pre-Owned Sales Manager.

Why did you choose the car business?

• My passion has always been the car business. I loved cars and anything car related which pointed me towards the Canadian Automotive Institute where a degree in Automotive Marketing gave me a jump start to my career.

How do you prefer to start your day?

• My work day always starts with reviewing the inventory, pricing, and new arrivals.

What was your first job?

• My first job was at a self serve Petro Canada gas station.

Are you a dog or a cat person (or neither)?

• Definitely a dog person.

What energizes you outside of work?

• Always enjoyed a round of golf, or a walk with my dog, but the best part of the days are hanging out with my son and wife.

• I started here in 2016

What do you do at MacPhee Ford?

• I try to find new and improved ways to allow our Sales Department to clearly and efficiently help our customers find their next vehicle

Why did you choose the car business?

• Having grown up in the car business I was always drawn to how unique of a business it is. Combining that with a vast interest in the world of digital marketing I saw it as a great fit.

How do you prefer to start your day?

• Workout in the morning, grab a coffee then plan what I am going to get done for the day.

What was your first job?

• I started washing cars on Saturdays when I was 12 years old

• Surprisingly both

What energizes you outside of work?

• Hanging out with friends and traveling

• I started with the company in 2018

What do you do at MacPhee Ford?

• As the Commercial Fleet Manager, I help businesses both small and large find the vehicle(s) that will help make their day-to-day operations more efficient.

Why did you choose the car business?

• My grandfather owned a Ford store that he started in 1952.  My dad sold Ford’s and my son has been working for the dealership for the last couple of years.  You could say it’s in my blood.

How do you prefer to start your day?

• First a glass of water, some stretching and a nice cup of coffee.

What was your first job?

• The bellhop at a hotel in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont.

• Definitely a dog person

What energizes you outside of work?

• Working with my daughter Mikaela with our candle business and spending as much time as I can, outdoors enjoying everything that Nova Scotia has to offer.

• I like working with people and I love cars.

• I like to spend time with my dog, say good morning to my colleagues, and get down to business.

• I was 15 and worked at Sobeys Take a break restaurant.

What energizes you outside of work?

• Riding my side by side in the woods, cooking, and spending time with family.

• Originally I thought it was to just sell cars, however, after years of experience, what I do is build relationships

Why did you choose the car business?

• Chose the car business as I have family in the industry; truly it was a gamble and it ended up being a great fit

How do you prefer to start your day?

• Prefer to start my day with my pooch, some good breakfast and a cup of coffee

• I used to teach horseback riding lessons

• Both, I am a big animal lover in general

What energizes you outside of work?

• I am a very big outdoors girl – I love a good adventure, a good place to eat or a fun social event with friends and family

I am a credit specialist as well as work in vehicle sales.

Why did you choose the car business?

I’ve been a car enthusiast since I was a teenager and was automatically drawn to the business.

How do you prefer to start your day?

No matter the weather I start it with an iced capp.

What was your first job?

My first job was working as a general labourer at a horse farm.

Are you a dog or cat person (or neither)?

Dog for sure. I love my pups.

What energizes you outside of outside of work?

Atv’ing with my fiancé, spending time with my dogs and the gym.

• New to the sales world, but I have been with MacPhee for a year and a half having done my Co-op here

Why did you choose the car business?

• Life long car enthusiast which also drove me to attend the Automotive Business School of Canada in Barrie Ontario.

How do you prefer to start your day?

• Taking my dog for a nice long walk

• Going on hikes with my dog, playing golf, spending time on the boat, Skiing, and watching hockey

• For 37 years we spent most weekends touring on motorcycles, now its just relaxing at the cottage

• Gas station attendant pumping fuel.

• Dogs, 2 Boston Terriers (Bently&Tucker), 1 French Bulldog (Maverick).

What energizes you outside of work?

• Spending time with my family and friends, ATV’ing, snowmobiling, and boating.

I started out as a detailer here fresh out of high school in April of 2021.

Manage/Maintain the online presence of the dealership

Why did you choose the car business?

Ford has been in my family for four generations. My great grandfather owned a Ford dealership selling Ford tractors and my father works here at the same dealership as the Commercial Fleet Manager. I was automatically drawn to the atmosphere and business. We are definitely a Ford family!

How do you prefer to start your day?

A bagel and coffee.

What was your first job?

Working here as an automotive detailer!

Are you a dog or cat person (or neither)?

Definitely dogs. My family has two, Luka and Ranger.

What energizes you outside of work?

With the job, it’s pushed me to really enjoy photography and video creation. It’s something I genuinely enjoy and makes me enjoy coming to work every morning. On top of that, my passion for cars has led me to become involved with the local car community and has further pushed my interest for the automotive industry. I also enjoy hanging out with friends, spending some time in the gym or working on my car.
