Race-Bred Street Cred
Developed by Ford Racing engineers and benchmarked against the Mustang GTD and GT4 at circuits like Sebring and VIR, the new Mustang Dark Horse SC bridges the gap between the 500-hp naturally aspirated Dark Horse and the 815-hp GTD supercar. Almost nothing was left untouched -- engine, gearbox, aero, cooling, braking, suspension tuning, steering feel, and tire compounds were all reworked to take Dark Horse performance to an entirely new level.
The result is a track-capable, road-legal Mustang that trades punches with Europe's finest sports cars -- with a soundtrack rival brands have largely abandoned.

Powertrain
At the core sits the supercharged 5.2-litre V8 paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox -- the same powertrain architecture that made the Shelby GT500 a cult hero. Expect output to slot well between the 500-hp Dark Horse and the 815-hp GTD, delivering explosive straight-line pace with shift speeds you can feel in your chest.
Chassis & Handling
Every Dark Horse SC arrives with next-generation MagneRide adaptive dampers, firmer springs, new stabilizer bars, updated front and rear knuckles, and revised front control arms. Ford Racing used GTD development work to deliver a flatter, more responsive handling character than the 5.0L Dark Horse through adjusted rear suspension geometry, an updated steering rack, and reworked power-steering gear.
Optional Track Pack
The optional Track Pack takes Dark Horse SC into near-supercar territory. A dedicated MagneRide calibration is tuned around standard 20-inch carbon-fibre wheels wrapped in custom Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires (305/30R20 front, 315/30R20 rear). Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes migrate over from the GTD, and a revised ducktail-style rear decklid boosts wing efficiency by roughly 10 percent.
Function First, Personality Louder
The cockpit borrows the Mustang GTD's leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel with 12-o'clock stripe and performance controls, surrounded by Alcantara and carbon-fibre accents. Outside, buyers can personalize through painted graphics, a Carbon Exterior Package, three Brembo caliper colour options, and five different seat belt colours.
Optional Recaro leather and Dinamica sport seats (included with Track Pack) with Space Gray or Teal accents, plus a rear-seat delete that converts to a cargo shelf.
Track Pack customers can add vibrant teal to Brembo calipers, badging, and seat belts for a factory-finished look nobody else on the street will match.
Exposed carbon-fibre accents on the front fascia and mirror caps complement the standard carbon-fibre interior trim.
Limited-run combination of Track + Carbon packages with black-painted roof, Race Red Brembo calipers, 3D-printed titanium accents, and unique Solar Red Recaro accents. Shadow Black or Oxford White only.
